Adaptions of Temperature control involve:

1. Peripheral Vasodilation(heating) / Peripheral Vasoconstriction(cooling)
2. Decrease(heating) / Increase(cooling) THYROID FUNCTION
3. DECREASE(HEATING) / INCREASE(COOLING) MUSCLE CONTRACTION –> HEAT GENERATION
4. Splanchnic vasoconstriction(heating) –> blood diverted to periperies to reduce heat
