Busulfan is a cell cycle-nonspecific alkylating agent used in management of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). It’s main mechanism of action is DNA-DNA and DNA-protein cross-linking, thus inhibiting DNA synthesis. Profound myelosuppression makes busulfan a valuable tool for bone marrow transplantation. Toxicities include pulmonary fibrosis with symptoms of dyspnea, cough and fatigue, hyperpigmentation, and seizure
