Chron Disease – Prolonged diarrhea & abdominal pain. Symptoms: Fever, weight loss, malabsorption etc. Transmural inflammation of bowel may result in fistulas. Clue: “Bowel contents appear to be draining to the surface of the skin”. Microscopy: Noncaseating granulomas. Gross Findings: Transmural inflammation, linear mucosal ulcerations, cobblestone, creeping fat.
