Myxoma – Histopathologic exam reveals amorphous extracellular matrix with scattered stellate or globular myxoma cells with abundant mucopolysaccharide ground substance containing chondroitin sulfate & hyaluronic acid. Also demonstrate areas of hemorrhage & hemosiderin laden macrophages.
