Asthma-Shortness of breath, chest tightness & cough. Tx: Rescue Inhaler, Albuterol which is a short acting beta agonist, an inhaled corticosteroid (e.g., mometasone), & a long acting beta agonist (e.g., salmeterol). For patients whose symptoms remain uncontrolled, adding an IgE-binding monoclonal antibody (e.g., omalizumab) may be beneficial.
