Invasive Ductal Breast Carcinoma shows ER, PR & HER2 positivity. Tx: Trastuzumab a monoclonal antibody. MOA: Binds to a portion of extracellular domain of HER2 & prevents activation of transmembrane tyrosine kinase. This downregulates cellular proliferation & promotes apoptosis.
